I was born and
raised in Poland where we bred and showed Poodles and
Afghans.
I had always
admired the German Shepherd breed while growing up, but due to
space constraints, I didn't feel I had enough room for a
Shepherd. I purchased my first German Shepherd
when I came to Canada in 1991.
Because of my
European roots, I wanted a European born and bred German
Shepherd. In Europe, the dogs are evaluated on their
health, temperament, and conformation. They must
pass a performance health test, conformation and
temperament tests before being considered 'fit' to be
bred. I wanted to continue in that same tradition of
health and temperament, so went in search of a stud dog in my
native Poland.
My
foundation stud dog Rickor Z Kojca Coli,
from Poland, is producing the size, temperament and health that
I was hoping to find.
My breeding
priorities are to continue in the European tradition of raising
sound, healthy, handsome German Shepherds!
